I just had to take a picture of this because I thought it was so adorable. Usually Kenli pulls any bow, headband, and or flower that I would attempt to put in her hair. But lately she has wanted to put as many things on her hair as she can get. This is a picture we took of her--you can't really tell but she has about 5 different things in her hair. I guess she is coming into her own fashion sense.
Jaxon had a fun filled birthday this year. To start off his day we celebrated by having a few friends over to celebrate. They had fun eating cupcakes and playing squirt guns in the back yard. Later that day we took Jaxon and Kenli to Jeepers-an indoor fun park. We had so much fun trying out all the rides and eating pizza. By the end I think we were all a little worn out. We ended the night by doing cake and presents at home. What a fun filled day. We love our Jaxon and we are so glad he is in our family.
Chris and I were invited by his work to attend a Ball recognizing one of Chris' clients. I was so excited. How often do you get to get dressed up all fancy and go out--especially to a BALL! We had a lot of fun. These are a few photos I was able to sneak in--even though it embarrassed my husband a little.
I had to take these pictures of Kenli's hair in piggy braids. It is the first time that I have attempted to braid her hair and it turned out so cute. Some may find this post kinda funny but I guess it is just the hairstylist in me--so excited to have a girl to dress up. I also took a picture of Jaxon -- we thought he looked pretty cool too.
I knew this day would come eventually. You know the day where you are busy doing this and that and all of the sudden you realize your kids are being TOO quiet. Well I checked on Kenli 2 minutes before this happened-so I was really surprised when I came back into the room and saw her covered in my scrapbook ink. I saw her with my box but I was certain she wouldn't be able to open it--but she proved me wrong! Even though she mad a mess of herself I thought she looked pretty cute.
